Getting there & parking
Nearest airports: IND
- Race-day traffic is heavy — plan to arrive hours early and expect a slow exit after the checkered flag.
- Buy or reserve parking in advance where the track offers it; prices and lots vary by event.
- Ride-share and shuttles can beat parking, but pickup zones get busy after the race.
- Save your parking spot on your phone map — big lots look alike at night.
What to bring
- Hearing protection (earplugs or over-ear muffs) — race cars are loud.
- Sun protection: hat, sunscreen, sunglasses. Rain poncho just in case.
- A clear bag if the venue requires one, plus a phone power bank.
- Seat cushion, comfortable shoes and layers for long days.
- Check the official site for the current cooler, bag and prohibited-items policy.
Where to watch
